I will never wear fur. Ever.
Because it results in the deaths of millions of animals. Because we don't even really need it. Because it is pointless, violent, and painful slaughter.

I must correct the "wool is humane" statement. While yes, the sheep doesn't die, the practices they use on young sheep are horrible and far from humane. They cut off the skin from the rump, so it will scar over and no hair will grow, they use no aesthetics in this process, and only use ointment and antibiotics if it gets infected(or just kill the infant cause that's "cheaper").
Animals killed for fur are NEVER killed OR treated humanely... Neither are animals killed for meat. Heck not even "dairy/egg" animals are treated humanely. Seeing as about 70 percent of leather in america is from India, where cows are forced to walk hundreds of miles(most of India killing cows is illegal, and most are purchased from poor families in those areas with the promise the cow will live a long and happy life), having cayenne pepper and sand shoved into their eyes and denied food and water for days.
Humane deaths for animals is a myth the business' that profit off murder wants it's consumers to believe. The only way to make sure these animals get to live humanely is to choose not to use animals products. Fur, Leather, Meat, Dairy, Cosmetics tested on animals, ECT.
